🎤 Downtime Lounge Karaoke Challenge 2026

1. ORGANISER The Downtime Lounge Karaoke Challenge is organised by Downtime Lounge, located at 48 Socony Road, Goodwood. 2. ELIGIBILITY • Open to individuals aged 18 years and older only • Valid identification may be required • Entry into the competition is FREE 3. REGISTRATION • Closing date: 30 June 2026 • Register online or via WhatsApp: 064 106 8768 • Late registrations will not be accepted 4. COMPETITION DATES & FORMAT • Competition begins on 05 July 2026 • Competition runs over 8 weeks • Weeks 1–6: Knockout rounds • Week 7: Quarterfinals • Week 8: Semi-Final and Grand Final 5. PERFORMANCE RULES • Solo performances only • Songs must be appropriate for public venues • No repeated songs consecutively 6. JUDGING & SCORING Judging criteria includes: • Vocal ability • Stage presence • Song difficulty • Audience engagement Judges’ decisions are final. 7. ELIMINATION • Lowest scoring contestants may be eliminated • Unsportsmanlike conduct may lead to disqualification 8. PRIZE MONEY 🥇 1st Prize: R12,000 🥈 2nd Prize: R5,000 🥉 3rd Prize: R2,000 🎖️ 4th Prize: R1,000 9. CODE OF CONDUCT Participants must respect judges, staff, contestants, and venue property. 10. MEDIA & PROMOTION Participants agree to photos/videos being used for promotional purposes. 11. LIABILITY Participants enter and perform at their own risk. 12. GENERAL Participation constitutes full acceptance of these rules.
